I’ll be completely honest with you, I didn’t see the allure of I’m a Dirty Dinosaur at first. Well, apparently Ava was just a little too young when we first read it because now she LOVES it! And of course, that means I love it too.
She smiles so big and dances side to side along with the sing-song words. I’m a Dirty Dinosaur has fun illustrations made from real mud and exciting action words in the story kids can even play out, like stomp, stomp, stomp!
This is now one of our favorite read-alouds that we own and it always comes down from the shelf when Ava’s wearing her dino PJs. We ended up reading it 3 times in a row last week!
We will probably have the follow-up book, I’m a Hungry Dinosaur, in our collection sooner than later.
