Are you as scared as I am when you hear the words “toddler” and “paint” in the same sentence? Well, I decided to give it a try! And I’m glad I did…with fork painting! Such a simple concept, right? Take a fork and dip it in paint. A fork is easy for little ones to hold and just maybe it controls the mess a little. The options to create are endless! I think a fork painting tree might be in our near feature.

Every time I attempt crafts with my little lady, I make sure I have everything cut out and set up before it’s go time. That way I can be relaxed and focused on having fun, even though there is sure to be some mess.
She had fun and so did I! I actually let her go at it with hers while I made my own lion. Being strapped into the high chair might have made that possible.
After clean up, it was story time! Here’s a look inside I Want to Be a Lion Tamer:
If you make this craft or love this book, it would make my day to hear about it! Feel free to share in the comments.
